Airport food, mmmm, yeah maybe not. Actually, it depends on the airport, I love the curry from the Admirals Club here in Honolulu but other than that the Honolulu Airport has very poor options. That may be changing.
The Mauka Terminal at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu has, at last, introduced a dining option, the Mauka Market, bringing a culinary delight to travelers using the terminal. This new development comes two years after the terminal’s inauguration, during which time it lacked a restaurant facility.
Imagine eating a good meal in the Mauka Concourse and then flying on one of the new Hawaiian Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliners in first class. A good meal is always a good start.
