The Ritz-Carlton, a Marriott Bonvoy® brand within the company’s portfolio of 30 distinguished hotels, today unveiled The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, a new oasis of modern luxury in the middle of Manhattan.

The Ritz-Carlton hotels are a part of the Marriott STARS program and I recommend you book this way to receive additional VIP perks along with Bonvoy points.

The newly built hotel and residences developed by New York-based Flag Luxury Group in Madison Square Park’s dynamic North bring the brand’s unrivaled service and sophisticated elegance to one of the city’s most active and developing areas.

The hotel, residences, and retail space are all connected to a 50-story tower that offers spectacular views of Central Park.
The hotel rises 500 feet above the city streets, becoming one of the loftiest buildings in NoMad, the birthplace of American popular music at Tin Pan Alley and today a nexus of art, entertainment, fashion, and technology.

A stunning contemporary design pays tribute to the location in the city’s energetic Flower District. Culture Corps and Founding Partner Yvonne Force Villareal, for example, are noted, art collectors. Local artists Pat Steir, Ross Bleckner, and Donald Baechler make up part of their impressive collection.

Seasonal floral displays throughout the hotel provide a one-of-a-kind welcome experience for guests in the budding neighborhood.
The hotel has 250 rooms, including 19 suites and 16 two- and three-bedroom penthouse apartments.

The guestrooms and public areas feature graceful floral motifs such as natural elements and textures, which mimic the petal’s soft curvature, as well as sleek qualities and lines that mirror New York City’s verticality and city grid.

The bedrooms are inspired by family living and offer bespoke furniture, as well as a neutral color palette that allows the enormous, light-filled living areas and breathtaking city vistas to shine.

The Ritz-Carlton Suite, a 2,100-square-foot suite on the hotel’s 37th floor with breathtaking views of New York City, includes a private wellness room with a Peloton® bike, separate living and dining areas, and a media room and 194-square-foot walk-in closet, as well as service access.

Bathroom amenities by Diptyque, including the fragrance Philosykos, are included in all rooms. The hotel’s food and beverage agreement is one-of-a-kind, with all culinary operations and in-room dining led by a Michelin star.

Zaytinya, a play on the Turkish word for olive oil, is located on the hotel’s ground floor and serves an innovative mezze cuisine and creative cocktails inspired by Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cuisines.

The space is saturated with a palette of bronze metals and white oak wood, with distinctive pops of blue and delicate curves to reflect the natural beauty of the Mediterranean. The restaurant was created by Rockwell Group, which has plans for similar restaurants in other cities.
Nubeluz is located on the hotel’s roof and is an exciting addition to New York’s nightlife scene.

The restaurant offers panoramic vistas of Manhattan, complemented by a wide range of classic and signature beverages, light bites, and an assortment of Tablas boards where customers can construct panels made from Jamon, queso, and embutidos from Andrés’ native Spain.
The apartment, designed by Martin Brudnizki, is a glittering treasure box with interiors that are a contemporary re-imagining of New York’s rich past. A mix of reflecting surfaces, luxurious textiles, and modern materials characterize the interior design.

The Lobby Lounge and Bar is a haven where visitors can relax with a morning pastry and coffee, an afternoon glass of champagne, or a nightcap in the evening. It’s located on the first floor of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, and features a range of drinks.

The Bazaar by José Andrés will make its New York debut in late 2022. This high-end avant-garde dining experience is a sensory adventure born of Andrés’ Spanish heritage, where sophisticated cuisine, elegant service, and light theatricalities come together.
Each location has its attitude and promises a unique culinary experience and a dynamic aesthetic.

The Bazaar is the work of Lázaro Rosa-Viola, a Barcelona-based design firm. It features painted and natural wood, textured glass, ceramic tile, and draping to generate a cozy yet distinctive atmosphere.

The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad offers a variety of thoughtfully created services that may tailor to each guest’s needs. The Club Level provides access to the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge, where guests may unwind or work while receiving dedicated concierge service and a variety of culinary options throughout the day.

The hotel’s Ritz-Carlton Health Club has a 6,800-square-foot signature spa and fitness center with eight treatment rooms and separate sauna and steam rooms. Augustinus Bader, a luxury skincare brand, is bringing its signature facial, The Method, to The Ritz-Carlton Spa.

Augustinus Bader’s signature facial is being interpreted with the use of distinctive fragrances and oils inspired by New York’s Flower District.

The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad has 10,000 square feet of meeting space that includes an expansive, private outdoor patio with all banquet and catering culinary offerings directed by Andrés.

Aloha, and welcome. Your journey around the web has brought you here, and I’m grateful for the chance to share a bit about Hawaiʻi with you. I do my best to provide thoughtful insights on hotels, airlines, dining, and the ever-evolving travel scene in Hawaiʻi. My role? I’m the one steering the ship—quietly behind the scenes—making sure every piece of information you find here is worth your time. I grew up in Kaʻalaea on Oʻahu, surrounded by the beauty and complexity of Hawaiʻi, which shaped how I see the world and connect with it. As a native Hawaiian and someone who works in below-wing operations for Hawaiian Airlines, I’ve always been drawn to understanding the details—whether it’s about travel, culture, or the people who make it all happen. I travel extensively across the islands, seeking out what’s new, what’s changing, and what’s truly worth sharing. From the latest hotel openings to restaurant reviews and updates on travel trends, I aim to bring you accurate, first-hand insights you can trust. For a closer look, you can also find me on YouTube, where I dive deeper with visual reviews and updates. My hope is that this space helps you connect with Hawaiʻi in a meaningful way, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
