In my opinion, it’s tough to do a place like the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel justice. It has to be seen and felt to be fully appreciated. But you came as close as anyone with this video! Well done.
I totally agree about experiencing this place to fully appreciate it. The design that allows the breeze to pass through and views from just about anywhere on property was really well thought out. Kudos to Edward Charles Bassett the architect and Mr. Rockefeller for having the vision.

No exaggeration; this is my favorite hotel in the world. It’s beautiful, it’s historic, it’s relaxing, and all without being snooty.
